Classless and Clueless: Obama Takes on The Donald at White House Correspondent Dinner

In grade school, what did you do with the persistent bully or annoying kid that didn't like you and was always nipping at your heels? Remember back, I'm sure it sounded something like this:

"Ooh, look at junior's shoes, haha, did your mom dress you?" "You throw like a girl!" "My friends are waaay cooler than yours...."

All of us have been there, albeit a long time ago.

So what did you do with said bully? Take him head-on and fight at every point? Or just ignore him, which eventually made him go away.

Not Obama, no, no, no. The leader of the Free World thinks that a guy with a dead cat on his head is public enemy numero uno.

Here's video of Teh One from last night's White House Correspondents' Dinner Useful Idiot Bobbleheads Mouthpieces for the Leftist Cause Dinner. One only has to go 10 seconds in to get the idea:

The Donald was taken aback (and laughing all the way to the bank) by the fact that the focus of Obama's speech was focused on his truly:

"Well, I really understood what I was getting into — I didn't know that I'd be virtually the sole focus," Trump said. "I guess when you're leading in the polls that sort of thing tends to happen. But I was certainly in a certain way having a good time listening. I don't think the American people are having a good time with $5 gas. ... I was thinking to myself as they were doing this, you know, the American people are really suffering and we're all" having fun at a gala.

And....Obama plays right into Trump's trump-card hand, how genius of him and for the press to go along with it all.

Even George W. Bush -- for all of his faults and failures as President -- would have known better than to have attacked every one of his detractors as Obama has (Fox News, Chamber of Commerce, entrepreneurs, business, bitter-clingerers and The Guy With the Dead Cat on his Head who is most likely part of a giant conspiracy for Teh One's reelection...).

Obama's petulance highlights a man not comfortable in his own skin; someone that has never had to face criticism of any kind; a petulant man that tripped and stumbled into the presidency and has no clue what the hell he is doing.

Seriously, I'm no Trump fan but addressing him directly like this? So weird and Dear Leader-esque.

On a related note, I have been thinking about the entire Trump/birth certificate/presidential run/media attention deal and think that there is a high possibility that something beyond fishy is going on: Trump may be a Democrat plant, inserted by Soros and the ruling class and a Perot-like spoiler that runs on an independent ticket and keeps a genuine conservative from having any chance in the general election.

Liberals Who Vote Like Trump. Liberals Who Don't Vote Like "Cops"

Remember that old saying "You are what you eat"? Maybe today it's also true that you are what you watch? National Media Inc. did a demographic study of who watches what on TV, based on their party affiliation and tendency to vote.



Surprise, surprise when I saw a number of my favorites in the upper right hand, Republican who vote quadrant! Celebrity Apprentice, on the other hand, with The Donald, was the show deemed most popular among the most liberal in the audience. Never seen it myself! "Wive Swap", which, in the spirit of full disclosure I have also not seen, was popular with the most liberal in the audience that tends not to vote.

Curious, I thought, was the presence of "Cops" in the more liberal less vote crowd. Isn't this show on (whispers) Fox*? Maybe among liberals who sit home on election day, there is also a fascination with seeing themselves,their friends and their neighbors on TV??

One other surprise was "House". I like the show and would have thought it would have skewed more right, but then, the show did lose some conservative viewers after Lisa Edelstein did that pro-abortion PSA.

I could show you that, but instead, I'll show you one of the reasons some of us still watch, in spite of that:





*Sometimes called "Pox" by those who love it, watch it every day, but are embarrassed to admit it in front of fellow liberals.

Donald Trump Beating the Lamestream Press at Their Own Lamestream Game, Releases "Official" Birth Certificate

Yesterday the Donald released his "official" birth certificate, here's a shot of it:

It's beyond funny watching The Donald masterfully command the birther issue, first deliberately releasing an unofficial birth certificate copy, only to follow up with releasing the real deal above.

Being that the lamestream press is is so ragingly incompetent, leftist and corrupt, they clearly don't get what he is up to, which his simple: He has picked the most controversial, headline-grabbing topic to push that promotes his name and brand and makes the press look even stupider than they are. Let's face it, Trump touting a flat tax plan would not have as many people talking as the birther issue does.

And I am almost 100% certain that he is not serious about running for the Presidency of the United States, he's just promoting himself and his brand.

Some highlights from the ABC News interview:

"That's one of the nice things. I mean, part of the beauty of me is that I'm very rich. So if I need $600 million, I can put $600 million myself. That's a huge advantage. I must tell you, that's a huge advantage over the other candidates."

That is a huge advantage but my call is that he's not going to do it. He's not going run. I just have a gut feeling about it and I think he is using the limelight opportunity to do what he does best -- self promotion.

On Boehner:

"I don't like the crying," he said of Boehner. "I do not like it. I don't understand it. I really like him as a person. I think the crying is an emotional thing that frankly, probably makes him a very nice man. But you know, I don't like to see it in a leader."

I don't like crying, either. It projects weakness. It's pathetic. But Boehner's statist proclivities + politics as usual as the nation burns financially and ongoing closed door betrayals of the Tea Party far outplay the ramifications of his overactive tear ducts.

He's also treading lightly re: Sarah Palin:

"An amazing woman. You know, she gets knocked by so many people and she just keeps getting back up and up."

Hmm, this tone seems to be an appeal to the GOP base.

My most astute libertarian and true conservative friends think that Donald Trump is just pulling off a major self promotion stunt in his 'possible' Presidential run. They don't trust him, to say the least. For further reading, Andrew wrote about Donald Trump and libertarians at LCR here.
