Politics makes strange bedfellows. (You may quote me!) I had heard that there were over 400 organizations that were sponsoring the anemic turn out that was "Onenation", but I came across a link that confirmed it. Among the supporters (and remember what a humongous mess they left behind) were:
The Sierra Club,
NYC Environmental Justice Alliance (Environmental justice for NYC, but not DC?),
Earth Day Network,
National Wildlife Federation,
Green Party,
Green Party USA,
and Friends of the Earth (with "friends" like these, eh?)
Some notable standouts:
Communist Party USA (CPUSA),
Americans for Democratic Action,
Code Pink,
Gray Panthers,
US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation,
International Socialist Organization,
National Organization for Women California,
New York City Democratic Socialists of America,
Planned Parenthood,
People for the American Way,
American Association of University Professors,
Rainbow PUSH Coalition,
National Council of La Raza
NAACP,

The rally was a success in one aspect. It shows the superiority and popularity of conservatism in America. It shows that for all their pretense, liberalism is not the predominant way of thinking among the majority of Americans. It shows us we are winning.
Success for the Progressieves? Eh, not so much!
